This artwork has no top or bottom, it can be physically rotated and viewed according to which dream the viewer wishes to see. While creating this artwork, I realized that the narrative works seamlessly both ways. Trapped in the siege of Azovstal, a Georgian volunteer would naturally dream of home-Georgia, yet, once back in the homeland, his dreams might constantly pull him back to the hard days he had to go through during the siege. By allowing the piece to be flipped, it mirrors how deeply such experiences impact one's subconscious, alter their dreams, and reshape their lives.
Several Georgian defenders of Azovstal still remain in Russian High-security military prisons, some of them sentenced to life imprisonment.
